The Oxanne dress is very feminine and romantic.

At the front, you may choose to go for a one-piece or a two-piece dress (bodice + skirt) that will more figure-flattering.  In option 2, the bodice features an empire style waistline flowing into a slightly flared “skirt” with 4 pleats that gives the skirt more volume and a touch of romance. At the back, Oxanne features a buttoned-down back bodice, and a very feminine squared neckline, flowing over a slightly flared “skirt” with 4 pleats. The bottom edge of the sleeve openings is slightly puffed, and features two pleats reminiscent of the pleats of the dress. The sleeve closes with two-button fitted cuff. Shorten it by a few inches and Oxanne turns into a lovely blouse!

  • Fabric 2 m, 1,40 m wild (approx. 79 in x 55 in)
  • Lining 50 cm, 1,40 m wild (approx. 20 in x 55 in)
  • 7 x1 cm (3/8 in) to 1,5 cm (5/8 in) buttons
  • Optional: a small piece of double-sided interfacing ; 20 cm (8 in) interfacing

Fabric suggestion: Poplin, crepe, tencel, viscose, twill, sweat fabric, fleece sweater, jersey fabrics, batiste cotton, flannel…

For version A, which is more close-fitting, make sure you choose a fabric with a minimum of flexibility.
