Laddies is a design that plays with the traditionnal codes of the denim jacket. Short-lengthed, fitted, featuring a sew-on button band, a collar and buttoned cuffs, Laddies jacket stands out thanks to creative details, making it unique. The front and back of the garment are enhanced par upper yokes. On the front bodice, a set of additional inserts makes the design very graphical while creating a large slanted pocket. A small half hidden patch pocket brings another creative touch. The bottom of the jacket is finished by a buttoned waistband. The back bottom of the garment is gathered which is optional for the front bottom. About the collar, two options are available : a regular or a large one that makes the garment really trendy ! Feel free to mix the fabrics to create a very unique jacket !

Sizes 34-46 : 1,90 m; Sizes 48-52 : 2,20 m – Remove 20 cm for collar 2 (regular version)
Lining (1,40 m wide) : 40 cm
8 to 10 buttons 1,5 to 2 cm diameter
Optional : Fusible interfacing matching the weight of your fabirc

Recommended fabrics :

Woven fabrics with a weight somewhere between 300 and 360 g/m2 :

Denim, Gabardine, Jacquard, Wool, Corduroy, Linen, Quilted fabrics…

About light fabrics, let’s apply fusible interfacing on the upper collar, cuff pieces, the button bands and the waistbands.

As the design features many inserts, I advise you to avoid striped fabrics or fabrics with a geometrical pattern.

About the lining, let’s go for a woven fabric that might not be too light : Viscose crepe, Cotton…
